A veteran inspired journey of remembrance, honoring the 7,054 military members lost during combat operations since 9/11. Project RELO is expanding its mission and is embarking upon a “coast to coast” journey, traveling one mile for each service member lost. With the projected substantial jump in traffic due to the news and media coverage for the trip, we joined forces to configure a solution for a new website that is prepared to support them on their expedition.

After careful analysis, we recognized that their old site speed posed a threat under high traffic circumstances in maintaining full performance. Even with a short time frame, we were able to create a responsive design that increased the site speed by over 4x faster. We also jumped on the opportunity to significantly improve navigation, SEO, integrate an interactive journey experience, and streamline the process for collecting donations.

Most importantly, we got to support a selfless and compelling organization as they drive awareness while building a virtual memorial to preserve the memory of our veterans and their service.
